The overflow!
This is my blog: notes from the studio, thoughts from the road, and the odd overflow from making paintings.
I’m not aiming to be especially structured or sensible. I’ll write about what grabs my attention, what I’m trying to understand or say, what I want the paint to do, what’s working, what’s driving me nuts, and what surprises me along the way.
Like my paintings, I hope this blog will be true to who I am: colourful, questioning, occasionally unruly, and grounded in the Australian landscape.
Why this blog exists
Being part of a local community means more than opening the doors each day. It means reaching out, building shared experiences, and creating a space where people feel welcome and informed. This blog gives us an opportunity to do that in a simple, honest way. We use it to talk about our day-to-day work, the decisions we make, and the people involved, so you know what to expect when you visit us in person.
