about my art....

I paint bold, colourful Australian landscapes and whatever else my imagination drags in. I don’t do strict realism (I don't find it interesting) — much better have ideas stew, swirl, and then let them surprise me when they finally hit the canvas.

My paintings have minds of their own anyway. They grow their own personalities, revisit old obsessions, and often set out to amuse.

Born in Cornwall but completely claimed by Australia, I adore this place — its colours, its people, its attitude. My art is my loud, colourful love letter to the country I call home. 🤗💛
