“EL QUESTRO ROCKPOOL”

EL QUESTRO is an enormous (700,000 acres) station in the East Kimberley Region of Western Australia. Its wild and natural beauty is extraordinary and it should be on a MUST VISIT list for Australian Outback explorers. It really has it all - majestic red ranges, deep and densely ferned gorges with streams and pools running through them, fossils, thermal springs, mud flats, salt flats, rainforests reminiscent of Jurassic Park, busy waterfalls, swimmable rock-pools, waterholes and more.

This painting is of one of those many swimmable rock-pools. Unbelievably, the water actually was this deep azure blue nestled into the red rocks. An unexpected colour delight! Swimming here in the crystal clear water was such a wonderful and memorable experience.

This artwork is aready stretched ready to hang and it can be mailed to you free of charge if you live in a major city or regional centre of Australia. If you live in remote areas or overseas, I can have it sent to you free of charge, unstretched and rolled in a mailing tube. Because it has been stretched before, it is an easy matter for a framer to restretch it in your location. A Fine Art Reproduction does not detract from the artwork, because there is only ever one Original (and YOU may be lucky enough to have it!).

However, these extremely high quality prints do have their place in the scheme of things. You can have a larger size than the original artwork, which suits larger homes, and because prints are much cheaper than the original, but still have the same WOW factor, you can get a lot more "bang for your buck" when you are buying art.

These are such high quality prints that most people can not even tell that it is not the original! A visitor to my studio recently examined one of the prints with a magnifying glass and was astounded by the quality and integrity when comparing it with the original painting.
