WINTERSUN FERRY - NOOSA RIVER

This painting is one of two created by Kate Owen during the Noosa Art Trail. The pair will also be forerunners of my new Noosa River Series.

It’s an awkward time but also very enjoyable (and sometimes challenging) trying to figure out the direction of a new series, the colour palette (if any) and style.

I don’t like to repeat myself in my painting and a new series is an opportunity to let a fresh direction emerge without directing it too much.

Early days - but I’d like a little more abstraction if possible, but I’m loving the colours and the vibrancy so far….
