THIS ARTWORK WILL BE SHIPPED WORLDWIDE ROLLED IN A MAILING TUBE as it will be much safer and more economical to have it stretched and or framed where you live.

In the arid outback country, the hard earth covered with rocks and the occasional fossil is quickly transformed by sudden storms with glowering skies. Water lies on the previously barren earth, and bird life, (even scores of huge Pelicans) appears from nowhere.

Here, a flock of Corellas (white cockatoos seen throughout Australia) swings across the land (they love the rain and call out raucously to each other in excitement!). Shoots of some desert plants, rushing to flower can be seen thrusting up through the water in no time at all.

I really enjoy seeing these desert transformations when just days ago the land was unbelivably barren and dry.

This is a really nice painting to hang over a couch or sofa - it's relaxing but colourful and interesting, with fossils, plant shoots, water textures and desert stones while at the same time, coming across as a wide and peaceful landscape. The white birds add some movement and atmosphere to what is really a quiet lull in the storm.

I have one of these prints in my own lounge room, and I always love it! (but I am probably biased).

About these prints:

The original painting has already sold but limited edition prints (a total of 50 world worldwide) are available on Paper or Canvas. The Canvas print is available in two sizes - the original size 198 x 90cms, and a larger size 245*114cm. I have one of the canvas prints on MY wall in Noosa and it looks great!

Of course the reason these prints look so good is because they are very high quality reproductions and it's honestly hard to believe they are actually prints.

If you would like my recommendation, in smaller sizes this artwork looks very rich on paper. This is because the matte finish of paper prints shows every tiny detail of the original artwork in truly amazing texture. There is a white border with the edition number and my signature embossed just below the printed area, and if you frame it in a box frame, it will be a definite attention getter!

However, it also looks amazing, as did the original painting, on a large sized canvas where the satin sheen of the protective varnish makes the colour really 'POP'! On canvas, your print can be made even bigger than the original without losing any of its detail, colour or quality. It's all a matter of your personal preference....
