OUT OF THE BLUE

This is a purely abstract work, just playing with and enjoying the interactions of various blues and winding vine types of patterns. It can be hung anyway up, and looks completely different each way, giving your mind a chance to interpret it freshly.

It's also a relaxing artwork, especially for the many avid fans of blue, blue and more blue. My sister is one of these people - she would have the whole world blue if she could! I painted this with her in mind, knowing she would enjoy it. And I like it too - a restful work compared with my normal vivid palette. But not toooooo restful - the eye half consciously traces the pathways of the winding vines, and stays interested in it, whether you realise it or not!
