SUNSET CRUISE Noosa River

Sometimes, especially in winter, the entire sky and sea is the most vibrant orange/red colour and the shadows and clouds are purple!  Everyone stands and stares because it is so extraordinary.

If you booked a sunset cruise on such a day, it will be a moment to remember, but it’s equally spectacular from the shore.

I love the little Noosa Ferry boats that ply the river, stacked with eager passengers inside and in the open air on top.  And I love ❤️ Noosa River!  This is the first in my new Noosa painting series….  This is probably the only stark red and purple one though.  I’m feeling like some watery colour and more abstract than this fairly figurative work.  We’ll see what comes out 🤗
